Convex / Concave

This
piece first was exhibited in the exhibition of the Utah
Art's Council's "View of Nine" competition for their Fellowship
Awards in April of 1998. The upper section is concave,
and features custom curved glass doors and interior lighting.
The lower section is convex, and has cocobolo doors and
drawers, with hand made brass pulls. The center section
is open to the back, and has lighting and an outlet for
warming trays for dinner service. The sides of the piece
are not parallel, but converge toward the front, and they
are concave both across their width and along their length.
