Sitting Pretty Wing Chair

Cherry, Wenge, Custom Wool Fabric

This
chair was designed and built for the "Sitting Pretty"
Juried exhibition which premiered at the Finch Lane Gallery
in 1993, and traveled around the West for a year. The
public were allowed to sit in all 25 of the chairs during
the exhibition. Over eight thousand people sat in this
chair before it returned, but it was none the worse for
wear, and it sold to a collector a month after the show
was over. |
